Maple Leaf Rag, The Entertainer, or neither?

I have six months to memorize movement First Sonata Op shape. 2 N º 1 Beethoven, Concerto No. 1 in F Op-sharp minor 18 first movement of Rachmaninoff, and a third piece for a festival of piano great. I will be judged. Eather could play Maple Leaf Rag, The Entertainer (Both Joplin), or a different piece of the required list. I really love to learn one of these peices, but the problem is that I have a small hand and can reach a octive with my 1 and 4, which is requird to do in the songs. I will also a senior in high school and will take part in many other activities. Should I cheat and play one of these wonderful peices and they deceive and play with a 5 octives? Should I choose a boring? * Sorry for the run scentences .*

Maple Leaf Rag is more interesting for play and listen to The Entertainer. You, however, have to Play the octaves on the right with fingers 1 and 5, as alternate interior syncopation 2-3 and 2-4. And please remember Scott Joplin its own edict, "Do not be so quick piece. Ragtime should never be played fast." He had to start having to actually printed in the score because people were using their songs is limited to playing as fast as he could to impress people. The music is much better to a slower pace.
